Varsity Head Coach
Coach Teri Minnis played volleyball at Carthage High School, graduating in 2000. She was an all-district player and captain of the Bulldogs. In 2000 she was selected as a Texas All-Star. Her accomplishments as a prep player led her to earning a full athletic scholarship to The University of Texas-San Antonio. During her successful volleyball career at UTSA, she was an All-Conference selection as a middle blocker and a 4-year letter winner. She also holds several blocking records at UTSA.
Prior to moving to the Dallas area, she coached for three years at the NCAA Division I collegiate level. She served as a student assistant coach at UTSA, and an assistant coach at both Centenary College and Appalachian State University.
Coach Minnis Began her teaching and coaching career at Frisco Centennial High School as an assistant coach. She then took over the volleyball program at Little Elm High School in 2009 where she served as head coach for 3 years before coming to Plano Senior High School in 2012. In her two season at Plano Senior High School she has led the Wildcats to the UIL Class 5A Region II Regional Semi-Finals. She is looking forward to continuing the success of the program here at Plano Senior. Coach Minnis is married to Mike Minnis.
